Just installed latest version of adobe reader, and my PDF no longer show in browser. I get "open/save" adobe dialog box, instead of browser showing me the result of my report. If I save , the save file does have the proper content.

Worked fine with adobe reader 9

So many security switches in adobe 10X....What do I need to update?
Anybody had the same problem with forms 9i, 10g, 11gr1 11gr2

Well, did you consider using Adobe Acrobat Reader's version that actually WORKS? (that would be 9)? What Reader 10 version's features do you really need?

Got it working. We are goverment, so we need to follow security updates etc..so staying on v9 was not an option.
After spending lots of time debugging/trying stuff, the solution was to simply disable 'protected mode' in adobe reader (preferences/general)

Maybe it's just me, but that just seems funny to me. Yup, it just me. Ok then.

Right; the result is the same (more or less) as if they stayed on version 9 (as "protected mode" is version X's feature). Problem is solved (PDF opens as it used to) & requirement is satisfied (brand new Reader that offers protection remained installed) so ...
