Hi ,
i am new to the reports6i ,

what is the difference between Reports 6i and Discoverer

and where they will use ,
please give me the brief idea about that

The different is that Discoverer is very useful and friendly to use from the users point of view. Useful in DataWarehouse to compute statiscics and sum aso.

Reports is for making listing from the database. It is NOT a userfriendly tool. Easy when you know the fault-possibilities. You should bee familiar with the Frames that is prodused when you use Repors.

So you should be familiar with a product in order to use it to it's full extend? Hmmm...that's new.

I agree it's not the most userfriendly tool around though for a developer, but then again: neither is discoverer.

From a user's point of view: they don't care how difficult it is for the developer, as long as it produces the right output in as little time as possible with the least possible number of actions from their side...
