Whenever I add a new query to my existing data model, the names of all of the previously existing groups suddenly change to the first column of each respective group. Does anyone know what possible reason there could be for this, and more importantly, is there a way for me to stop it from happening?

Yes, there is one option which i used just go DataModel editor press a space bar and click on apply .the cahnged names will be renamed as original groups.
